Hey there!
Here’s the deal: once a month, I pick a new thing to do to try and make my life more sustainable. Since the idea of sustainability encompasses so much, this is going to take a while, and require a good deal of thought and practice- so most of the time I’ll be posting about things I’ve read that shape my ideas of sustainability and low-impactness and eco-whathaveyou. Comments, pointers, suggestions, and critiques are all quite welcome: I’m new at all this, and I should be Monitored.
Me? I’m an engineer working in Alexandria, VA. I’m taking night classes in architecture, with an intent to inflict sustainable design on everybody, one day. I like obsessing about politics (but I hate politics), my own guilt is the strongest weapon in my war on waste, and the only endangered species I really get worked up over are various types of penguin.
Send me an email at virescent (dot) blog (at) gmail (dot) com, or take a look at my photo albums.
Above all, enjoy!
