There is an election today. You should vote in it, too!
Hey, remember that election a year ago? That was a great election, hey? This one might not turn out so well, but get to the polls and we will do what we can.

Your Dad and I have exercised our freedoms and been to the polls already – turn out was low at 8 this morning – hope citizens turn out in bigger numbers other times today. This election is as important as last year’s – just less hype.
Where we vote had pen and paper ballots. We had to bubble in our choices. The machine we fed the ballot into was accepting some ballots first time, but several voters ahead of me had to feed the ballot in several times. One voter was instructed to turn his ballot over, the machine would read either side. I guess dual side readers are possible. We can only hope that the US is able to hold open and free elections without the fraud plaguing other countries.
